GCCS is unique in offering various options for families with Kindergarten students. Our core JK and SK programs are typically offered as age-separated programs for a full-day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In addition, parents can also choose to add one or two days of K-PLUS (K+).
Within the Kindergarten program, we seek to foster developmental growth and learning in all areas. Our Junior Kindergarten program begins a child’s journey through elementary school. The program allows the young children to explore, discover and learn. Our Senior Kindergarten program takes your child to the next level of their learning. Both programs offer both structured and unstructured learning opportunities and allow for many hands-on activities.
K+ is an optional program that combines children of JK and SK age in one classroom. K+ is an extension program based on the JK and SK curricula and reinforces skills learned in the core program through increased exposure to the arts, including music, drama, crafts, physical education, and outdoor education. These classes run during regular GCCS hours, including the first day of school.
