The primary goal of the AIM Language Learning program is to help students develop a working proficiency – oral and written – in a second language in just 100 hours of classroom instruction! Students use gestures and repeated oral practice as the primary method of developing proficiency.
Students study a play each year as a vehicle to learn vocabulary and language structures that can be applied to everyday situations. They are also given opportunities to write in French and communicate their ideas using familiar vocabulary. By the time GCCS students are in Grade 8, their French classes also include formal lessons on French grammar in order to prepare them for Grade 9 French.

Donation pledges represent the generous commitment of donors to contribute a specified amount of money to an organization over a predetermined period.
