A Message from Mr. Peter Kingma, Chair, GCCS Campaign Cabinet
Guelph Community Christian School has reached a milestone.
After nearly 50 years of operation, the school has outgrown its facility. This has prompted the membership to purchase and renovate the former College Avenue Public School- a major and costly undertaking! So, at such a time as this, it is appropriate to again ask the question: Why Christian education? And further: What is its place in the Kingdom of God?
Many people view Christian schooling as a matter of parental choice. Some parents choose to home school. Others choose special schools for language or skill priorities. The vast majority send their children to public schools while a small minority choose Christian schools. For the Christian whose goal in life is to bring glory to God, there is a conviction of a greater purpose for education than just to help their young people succeed in life.
...I invite all of you, even if you have never had any association with a Christian school, to invest in the task of preparing young people for their place and purpose in God's Kingdom.

Our Building Committee
Chaired by Mr. Jack Tacoma, our Building Committee is working to make the dream of a new school facility a reality.
Each member is committed to realizing our vision of "Growing to Serve", by
overseeing the development of a new building that will serve our community for the next 50 years. To learn more about

THE CASE FOR SUPPORT
For 50 years our facility on Water Street has served the needs of the GCCS community. The building is aging, however, and
our community is growing. We believe the time has come to invest in the next 50 years of Christian education in the Guelph
area. We need your help to make this happen.
